2026 Convention was a success!

The 2026 State Annual Singing Convention was a tremendous success. The rain stopped just in time on Friday evening for us to enjoy a wonderful evening of music with the JOCO Community Choir, the Central Baptist Church Choir, the Wilmington Celebration Choir and the Midway Baptist Church Choir. The climax of the evening featured a Patriotic Celebration with members of each choir on stage together.

Except for a brief afternoon shower, the rain held off throughout the day Saturday and allowed attendees to enjoy a wonderful day of music from more than two dozen popular soloists and groups. Wesley Pritchard & Friends, as well as Jeff & Sheri Easter delighted the audience who had gathered under the big tent and the shade trees on Saturday evening. The evening concluded as both groups and the crowd joined in on the popular Jeff & Sheri classic, Party Time.

The Board of Directors wishes to thank all the many sponsors of the 105th NC State Annual Singing Convention, as well as all the many fans who joined us at the Grove in Benson. We look forward to hosting the 2027 Convention on June 25 & 26. Next year’s host group will be popular multi-award winning quartet, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. LOCATION

The singing is held outdoors in downtown Benson in a beautiful one-block oak grove located at 400 E Main St, Benson, NC 27504. Some seating is provided; however, spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. There is no charge to attend the Sing. Singing begins at 10a.m. Saturday and the Worship Service will begin at 10:30a.m. on Sunday.
